Drill instructors from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego (California) give a future Marine a taste of what recruit training will be like during the annual pool function at Marine Corps Recruiting Station Fort Worth, Texas.
Pool functions, like this April 27 event in Texas, are held to prepare young individuals who want to be Marines for the physical and mental stress of Marine Corps recruit training. You can read more about it here and here.
